7 Little Johnstons fans heard that Elizabeth “Liz” Johnson welcomed  Leighton Bolden on November 3, 2023. Before that, when they first heard about the pregnancy, many people thought that the baby would save the TLC show. However, viewers already think that the storyline has grown stale.

Leighton Bolden’s Birth Anticipated At The End

In December, when a  few spoilers for Season 14 started emerging, TLC fans anticipated that Liz Johnston’s baby would only arrive at the end of the season. However, they felt certain that they would see much of the pregnancy. And, that happened. However, some people feel they saw too much of it.

Footage seen late last year suggested that the family started filming for Season 15. So, 7 Little Johnstons fans suspected that more would come about Leighton Bolden after her birth. However, the general feeling seems to be that the show already focused too much on Liz Johnston and her baby.

7 Little Johnstons Fans Grow Bored With The Baby

To be fair, not everyone thinks that L:iz Johnston and her baby are mind-numbingly boring. However, some critics wish they could have seen more of the other kids, Emma, Anna, Alex, and Jonah. They did see some footage while Liz was deciding when to tell her parents about the child. But, ever since then, it’s mostly been about the pregnancy, the baby, and a lot of discussion about whether the cast wanted Leighton Bolden to be a little person or not.

On Reddit, a viewer of the 7 Little Johnstons show complained, writing:

I am so sick of hearing about Leighton…SOOOO over it. There are 4 other kids to follow, I wanna hear more about their lives! Not about how Elizabeth got knocked up by her slow “ex” boyfriend.

Fans of the TLC show were not dragging the baby herself, because she can’t help being a topic on television. So, they dragged the mom of Leighton Bolden and grandma Amber Johnson. Here are some of their thoughts:

• That last episode could almost be a drinking game, like take a shot for every time Liz says the babies coming in two days. I know a lot of that has to do with editing, but it just got overbearing. I can’t wait for her to say, Bryce and I’s baby.
• And maybe somebody needs to tell liz that women have babies every day without having to have their mothers dictating their every move. amber is the most annoying.
• Let’s hope the show gets canceled. Most of us want to see Anna. Nobody cares about Amber and the rest of the douche bags.
• Babies are great in person. On a show, no[t] so much. Toddlers absolutely.
