In Sturm der Liebe – 1838. Ungereimtheiten, Coco’s curiosity about Leonard’s therapy puts him in an uncomfortable position. Her persistent questioning raises suspicions, especially when Pauline disapproves of her probing. Seeking answers, Coco turns to Michael for medical advice and uncovers inconsistencies in Leonard’s supposed illness history. When she confronts Leonard with this, Pauline steps in just in time to prevent the situation from escalating. Meanwhile, while exploring the attic of the “Fürstenhof,” Charlotte and Pauline discover a box filled with old memorabilia, including a copy of the purchase agreement between Charlotte’s father, Ludwig, and Pauline’s grandfather, Erich. Upon further inspection, Coco realizes that there is a discrepancy in the signatures: the one on the contract doesn’t match the one on a corresponding engraving.
Meanwhile, Friedrich admits to attempting to tarnish Werner’s reputation with the help of a journalist. Charlotte is appalled and demands that Friedrich retract his actions, but he instead pressures her into keeping quiet about it. Taking matters into her own hands, Charlotte convinces journalist Sina Flock to write a reconciliatory article, ultimately easing Werner’s tensions. Elsewhere, Sabrina and Tina are still dealing with the Rubens painting scandal. After securing a buyer for the stolen artwork, Sabrina pushes Tina to finish the replica. As Tina grows increasingly uncertain about risking her stable life for the forgery, Sabrina begins to question her own motives, showing signs of doubt.
Hildegard faces a mishap when she accidentally shrinks Martin’s soutane while washing it. Of all times, Martin urgently needs the vestment for a funeral service. In an attempt to help, Michael offers his own festive costume as a temporary solution.
