For 25 years, actress Marisa Burger (52) has entertained viewers of ‘Die Rosenheim-Cops’ as secretary Miriam Stockl with her quick wit, charm, and dialect (‘Es gabat a Leich’). The new 25th season of the ZDF series will be her last in the police office. As announced earlier this spring, Burger is leaving the secretariat at her own request. Now her successor has been determined.
The New One Is a Familiar Face
Starting with the 26th season, Thonig will be transferred from reception to the secretariat. ‘Sarah has been part of our ensemble since 2014 and has won over the audience with her authentic, fresh approach,’ according to ZDF. ‘Her role change opens up new dramatic possibilities that we will tell with great attention to detail and our usual humor.’
The final season of the early evening series with Marisa Burger starts this fall. From September 30, 21 new episodes will be available on the ZDF media library and ZDF app, and on linear television from October 7, airing Tuesdays at 7:25 PM. Alongside Marisa Burger, the returning cast includes: Dieter Fischer (Anton Stadler), Igor Jeftić (Sven Hansen), Baran Hêvî (Kilian Kaya), Michaela Weingartner (Julia Beck), Anastasia Papadopoulou (Dr. Elena Dimos), Karin Thaler (Marie Hofer), Alexander Duda (Police Director Achtziger), Paul Brusa (Daniel Donato), Sarah Thonig (Christin Lange), Ursula Maria Burkhart (Marianne Grasegger), and Christian K. Schaeffer (Jo Caspar). And Max Müller as Police Chief Michi Mohr will also remain on board despite recent rumors.
