However, things between Matt and Zach didn’t improve during the finale episode. In the episode, Matt and Caryn were enjoying a dinner date after a nail-biting fundraiser event. The former was planning to build a playground on their family farm for his grandkids. But Caryn reminded him that Zach and his family never visit them on the property.

But Matt hoped to get on good terms with his son in the future. He said, “I’m always hopeful that Zach and Tori will bring the kids around, and if not, the kids will be coming around later in life.” He also confessed about missing his grandchildren. The finale episode also shared Zach’s views on his strained relationship with Matt.

He made it clear that he wasn’t holding any grudges with his dad. The reality TV celebrity confessed that he didn’t have any interest in going to the farm and the kids also didn’t ask them. LPBW stars Tori and Zach ended their long-term reality TV journey after the Season 25 finale. The latter opened up about how they handle constantly being watched in public. He said that his family will always stand out in public. The TLC star continued, “You know, Tori being my wife, and I’m her husband, me being short, her being tall, and our kids being short.” Zach admitted that it felt annoying sometimes, and they felt sensitive about constantly making sure that the kids were behaving well in public.

Meanwhile, Tori explained that she felt it was hard sometimes because she was being watched all the time. Moreover, she added, “That’s also not their burden. We can’t burden our kids with other people’s burdens or expectations or judgments.”
