Little People, Big World alum, Tori Roloff and her husband Zach Roloff seem mismatched because he’s a little person and she’s average-sized. Recently, the couple talked about their relationship, and it turns out that there was some opposition to her dating the TLC star. Additionally, she never thought that he would be her type of guy. LPBW Tori Roloff Gets Candid About Life on Her Podcast

After the announcement arrived that the TLC couple were leaving LPBW, fans still got the opportunity to find out more about their lives. That’s because they launched their new podcast, Raising Heights. Initially, not many people seemed interested, but each week, their subscriber numbers grew. Often, she and Zach discuss their relationship.

Tori Roloff also opened up about her children, Lilah’s surgery, and the body issues they both dealt with. She’s faced a lot of criticism because she struggled to get back in shape after the birth of Josiah. But, she said that she is working out and it’s working for her rather than corrective surgery. However, the Little People, Big World alum’s latest podcast went back to her dating days, and she got candid about dating a little person.

Dating Zach Who Wasn’t Her Type

Interestingly, before the former TLC star met Zach Roloff, his wife wasn’t interested in short men at all. In fact, she’d turn down dating offers just because men were on the short side. So, it seems ironic that she met and married a little person at all. LPBW fans already know from the show, that she worked on the farm for a season and she heard through someone else that her future husband fancied her.

On Raising Heights on YouTube, Tori Roloff discussed dating a little person in an episode titled, The Truth Behind Mixed Height Dating on June 20. In part, she said:

It’s funny because growing up, I had lots of, like okay, not to sound conceited, but there were a couple guys who were admirers of me that I would write them off and say, like, oh, ‘they’re too short.” It was me being, like, ‘I don’t actually care for this person. I don’t see myself with this person.” Once I met you, [Zach] even though your height was different than what I imagined, there was nothing wrong with you. There was nothing that I could pick apart and be like, ‘Oh, I can’t date this guy because he’s too short.”

However, even though the TLC star didn’t have a problem with Zach Roloff’s height, the Little People, Big World personality’s dad did. She explained that he repeatedly asked her if she was sure of her decision. However, at the end of it all, she claimed, “I’m pretty sure my dad likes you better than me now.”
